Background:

These Terms and Conditions are the standard terms for the provision of services by QEC Ltd. trading as Quantum Energy Coaching (QEC) a Private Limited Company registered in England, whose registered address is Long Drive, Exton Lane, Exton, Exeter, Devon, EX3 0PN, England.


1. Definitions and Interpretation

1.1. In these Terms and Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires, the following expressions have the following meanings:

“Business Day”

means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or bank holiday;

“Calendar Day”

means any day of the year;

“Agreement”

means the contract for the provision of Services, as explained in Clause 3;

“Deposit”

means an advance payment made to QEC Ltd. under sub-Clause 5.5;

“Month”

means a calendar month;

“Price”

means the price payable for the course and services;

“Services”

means the services which are to be provided by QEC Ltd. to you as specified in your Order (and confirmed in Our Order Confirmation);

“Special Price”

means a special offer price payable for Services which we may offer from time to time;

“Order”

means your order for the Services;

“Order Confirmation”

means our acceptance and confirmation of your order as described in Clause 3;

“We/Us/Our”

means QEC Ltd, trading as Quantum Energy Coaching (QEC) a Private Limited Company  registered in England, whose registered address is Long Drive, Exton Lane, Exton, Exeter, Devon, EX3 0PN, England;

“You”

means the person, individual or company purchasing the service. 


1.2. Each reference in these Terms and Conditions to “writing” and any similar expression includes electronic communications whether sent by e-mail, text message, or other means.

3. The Agreement

3.1 These Terms and Conditions govern the sale and provision of Services by Us and will form the basis of the Contract between us and you.  Before submitting an order, please ensure that you have read these Terms and Conditions carefully.  If you are unsure about any part of these Terms and Conditions, please ask us for clarification.

3.2 This agreement relates to the QEC Practitioner Certification Training (sometimes referred to as “the/this course”, “the/this training”), which runs over a period of approximately 22 weeks.

3.3 The Practitioner Certification Training includes three modules: 


3.4 All three modules (above) will need to have been successfully completed to certify a QEC practitioner. 

3.5 Please note that in order to be eligible for certification, you will need to have completed all three modules within 24 months.  This is to ensure that you are up to date with the latest teachings by Dr Salmon.

3.6 Bookings close between 5 - 7 days before the start date of the training programme.

3.7 By registering and paying for this training programme, you agree to the conditions as stated in this document. 

3.8 QEC Ltd. and Dr Melanie Salmon reserve the right to refuse you entry to - and participation in - this training course prior to the start date. In the event of this occurring, you will be fully refunded.

3.9 QEC Ltd. and Dr Melanie Salmon reserve the right to ask you to leave the course at any time during the training. You will be notified of the decision and informed of the reason, either in writing, in person, and/or via telephone, or virtual call. Should this occur, you understand that you will be refused further entry and will be reimbursed for half of the amount that you have paid.

3.10 QEC Ltd. and Dr Melanie Salmon reserve the right to amend, update and/or omit course content from the training material. 

3.11 By registering and paying for this training, you agree to fully complete the QEC medical indemnity form and return it to Anima at connect@qecliving.com, prior to the start date of the course.


4. Price and Payment

4.1 The price of the service and training will be that shown on our website, online course booking page and PDF course guide in place at the time of your order.  If the price shown in your order differs from our current price we will inform you upon receipt of your order.

4.2 Our prices may change at any time but these changes will not affect orders that we have already accepted.

4.3 All prices include VAT.  If the rate of VAT changes between the date of your order and the date of your payment, we will adjust the rate of VAT that you must pay.  Changes in VAT will not affect any prices where we have already received payment in full from you.

4.4 Before We begin providing the service, you will be required to book and pay either the full course fee or the first instalment of the payment plan, as indicated on the web page ´Become a Certified QEC Practitioner`. 

4.5 Payment plans are available from 3 - 12 months (consecutively) , depending on the module or package of modules you choose. Please refer the web page ´Become a Certified QEC Practitioner` for details. Payment plans begin from the moment of purchase/first successful payment. Each instalment will automatically be delivered from the credit/debit card or payment method that was used to register for the training course. The following conditions apply for the payment plan:

4.5.1 Payment plans are active from the moment you pay the first instalment 

4.5.2 Payments are automatically delivered monthly, from the card/payment method used to order this service/register for the course.

4.5.3 All payment plans include a small processing fee that is paid directly to the service provider. 

4.5.3 You agree and commit to paying the full amount (total) of the payment plan - that is the monthly amounts for the required period of time - within 12 months from the first payment.

4.5.4 Should the payment deduction/delivery fail, you agree to settle the amount within 7 days, by either, a) adding funds to the initial card/payment method, b) updating the credit/debit card and/ or payment method, c) arranging an alternative means of payment, in writing, with QEC Ltd. and/or Dr Melanie Salmon. 

4.5.5 The full amount of the payment plan must be made to QEC Ltd. within a maximum period of twelve (12) months from the first monthly instalment. 

4.5.6 Should you decide to leave the training early, for whatever reason, you are liable to pay the outstanding balance for the remaining, unpaid, instalments. This means that you are required to make payments of the total payment plan as this place cannot be filled once the training has started.

4.5.7 In the rare event that you are asked to leave the training by QEC Ltd. and/or Dr Melanie Salmon for whatever reason, you are eligible to receive a refund equivalent to half of the amount that you have paid to date.

4.5.8 It remains at the discretion of Dr Salmon to allow you to leave the course for personal reasons. If you feel that you need to leave the course, please discuss this with Dr Salmon to resolve the matter. Otherwise, the above cancellation conditions will apply.


5. Refunds and Cancellations 

5.1 You may cancel your order at any time before we begin providing the Services by contacting us. The refund and cancellation policy will apply (as stated in section 5.2). Requests to cancel orders need to be made in writing.

5.2 The following refund and cancellation policy applies: 

5.2.1 If you cancel your booking more than 30 days before the course start date, you will receive a full refund less 10% service charge.

5.2.2 If you cancel your booking between 30 days and 14 days of the start date of the course, you will be refunded 50% of the total price that you paid on checkout. There will be no service charge.

5.2.3 If you cancel within 14 days of the start date, or after the course has started, no refund will be allowed.

5.2.4 If you decide to leave the course, for whatever reason, you will not be entitled to a refund. However, if the reason is beyond your control, we will consider your circumstances and see if we can offer a resolution that might work for you. However, this is at the discretion of QEC Ltd.

5.2.5 Should you be asked to leave the training by QEC Ltd. and/or Dr Melanie Salmon for whatever reason, we agree to reimburse you for half of the amount of the total you have paid for this course, as described above.


6. Certification 

6.1 In order to be eligible for certification, you will need to fulfil all of the course requirements as stated by QEC Ltd. and Dr Melanie Salmon, including but not limited to, completing all three course modules as stated in 3.3, attending all of the live lectures, teachings, supervision sessions, peer practicums, and fully completing all assessments and case study requirements. You will also be required to consult and watch specific videos relating to the course and it´s teaching. 

6.2 Certification is not guaranteed. QEC Ltd. and Dr Melanie Salmon reserves the right to refuse you certification, without any implication and liability. 

6.3 The decision of whether or not you are granted successfully certification is made by Dr Melanie Salmon, and is final. 


7. Confidentiality

7.1 When participating in this training course, you agree to maintain the strictest level of confidentiality at all times, unless the sharing of information is required by law.

7.2 You agree to keep, store and dispose appropriate and accurate records of the QEC work and case studies conducted for the purpose on this training.

7.3 You agree not to record, photograph, replicate, store or distribute, in any manner, the teaching, information and content of this training course, unless prior permission is granted in writing by QEC Ltd and/or Dr Melanie Salmon.

7.4 Regarding case study work, if the client is a child or vulnerable adult, practitioners will make arrangements with the client’s sponsors or guardian to ensure an appropriate level of confidentiality in the best interests of the client, whilst also complying with all relevant legislation. 


8. Conduct

8.1 As a training QEC Practitioner, you agree to conduct yourself appropriately at all times according to the QEC Practitioners Code of Conduct and Ethics, found here: https://qecliving.com/pages/qec-practitioner-code-of-conduct-and-ethics 

8.2 Practitioners may only use QEC for self-help or in a one-to-one client relationship. It cannot and should not be used for group therapy, however it may be used for group manifestation; provided that it is conducted in the correct manner, as taught by Dr Melanie Salmon in the certification training.


9. Providing the Services

9.1 All training sessions, supervision, peer practice and other meetings will be held virtually, online.

9.2 As required by law, we will provide the services with reasonable skill and care, consistent with best practices and standards.

9.3 We will make every reasonable effort to complete the services on time.  We cannot, however, be held responsible for any delays if an event outside of our control occurs. QEC Ltd and/or Dr Melanie Salmon reserves the right to change the course dates/schedule, including training sessions, supervision, and other meetings.

9.4 You will be required to actively participate in the training and complete all the necessary course work, case studies, peer practicums, supervision and assessments in order to be eligible for certification.

9.5 Should you require and agree to receiving additional training support, mentorship or supervision, which is above and beyond the offering of the training, you will need to pay the additional fees.

9.6 In certain circumstances, for example if we encounter a technical problem, we may need to suspend the service in order to resolve the issue.  Unless the issue is an emergency and requires immediate attention we will inform you in advance in writing before suspending the service.

9.7 If you do not pay us for the services as required, we may suspend the service until you have paid all outstanding sums due.  If this happens, we will inform you in writing. 


10. Problems with the Services and Your Legal Rights

10.1 We always use reasonable efforts to ensure that our provision of the service is trouble-free.  If, however, there is a problem we request that you inform us as soon as is reasonably possible.


11. Events Outside of Our Control (Force Majeure)

11.1 We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where that failure or delay results from any cause that is beyond our reasonable control.  Such causes include, but are not limited to: power failure, internet service provider failure, strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action by third parties, riots and other civil unrest, fire, explosion, flood, storms, earthquakes, subsidence, acts of terrorism (threatened or actual), acts of war (declared, undeclared, threatened, actual or preparations for war), epidemic or other natural disaster, or any other event that is beyond our reasonable control.

11.2 If any event described under this Section (11) occurs that is likely to adversely affect our performance of any of our obligations under these Terms and Conditions:

11.2.1 We will inform you as soon as is reasonably possible;

11.2.2 Our obligations under these Terms and Conditions will be suspended and any time limits that we are bound by will be extended accordingly;

11.2.3 We will inform you when the event outside of our control is over and provide details of any new dates, times or availability of Services as necessary.

13. Complaints and Feedback

13.1 We always welcome feedback from our customers and, whilst we always use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that your experience as a customer of ours is a positive one, we nevertheless want to hear from you if you have any cause for complaint.

13.2 All complaints are handled in accordance with our complaints handling policy and procedure, available at https://qecliving.com/pages/qec-practitioner-code-of-conduct-and-ethics 

13.3 If you wish to complain about any aspect of your dealings with Us, including, but not limited to, these Terms and Conditions, the contract, or the services, please contact us in one of the following ways:

14. Acceptance 

14.1 By purchasing/ordering/registering for this training, you accept and agree to all of the terms and conditions as stated in this document.
