We are all ageing, so how can we do it gracefully? In this seminar we will unpack how QEC can be used to ward off a range of fears associated with the physical, mental and emotional challenges of ageing.
In researching for the topic, Melanie found herself impacted by the brilliant book, “Ageism Unmasked: Exploring Age Bias and How to End It” by Tracy Gendron. The book outlined the rampant displays of bias towards old people during the recent pandemic. We’ll look at what it means to support our clients - many of whom have lost elder family members during this time - and how they can best support those suffering from dementia, illness and isolation.
This new take on the topic also includes the fascinating work of neuroscientist, Dr Daniel Leviton. His book “Ageing Successfully” unpacks how living one’s life differently in one’s 40’s and 50’s can lead to a different outcome in latter years
